See the World from Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe ⛰️

Jungfraujoch, also known as "The Top of Europe", is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that sits at 3454 m elevation.

This is Europe's highest railway station, a place that unveils a wonderland of snow-capped mountains. For 365 days a year, you can enjoy ice on display or relax in refreshing summer air at this unique destination.

Come explore the pathways, aisles, and halls throughout the spectacular Ice Palace. They were created almost 90 years ago by expert mountain guides and currently display unique ice sculptures of eagles, penguins or bears.

Pro tip: take the new Eiger Express tri-cable car to get from Grindelwald to the Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes. With a direct transfer option, you will be on the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe and on the slopes.

Take a Kayak Tour on Lake Brienz 🛶

Enjoy Niederhorn, Mountain of Discovery

Niederhorn hides many hiking trails along its beautiful alpine meadows, through dense forests but also along steep cliffs. On these hikes, you might even have a true Swiss experience: meeting and getting really close to ibexes and chamois

Pro tip: Look for the comfort-ticket until 9 am and from 4 pm to enjoy a special fare. During summer this ticket can also be used on Friday and Saturday evenings until 10 pm.

Half-Day Trip at the Stunning Aare Gorge 🌊

Craving some cool air during hot summer days? Take a 45-minute stroll through the Aare Gorge. Nestled between Meiringen and Innertkirchen, the Aare Gorge is a natural wonder carved by erosion 200 metres deep.

The Gorge's consistently cool temperatures make it an ideal hiking spot, whether you're soaking up the sun or enjoying its mystical atmosphere on a rainy day. A series of secured walkways and tunnels have allowed visitors to walk the full length of the gorge since 1888. 

Our tip: On Fridays and Saturdays between 30 June and 26 August 2023, enjoy the spectacular evening lighting from 18:30 to 22:00.

This lovely natural formation is an ideal day trip for people who want to explore Switzerland and the Bernese Oberland by tour bus or as independent travellers. The Aare Gorge makes an easy stop for anyone travelling between Lucerne and Interlaken or over Grimsel or Susten Pass.

From 17 June to 17 September, you can enjoy extended opening hours, between 8:30 to 18:30. Before your visit, make sure you check the Aare Gorge website for updated fares, deals, and combination tickets.
